Committee Hearings Include Update on U.S. Military Operations in Libya, Humanitarian Efforts in Japan and Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell

Washington, D.C.—U.S. Rep. Howard P. “Buck” McKeon (R-Calif.), the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, today released the hearing schedule for the week of April 4, which includes updates on the military operations in Libya, humanitarian efforts in Japan and the Pentagon’s repeal of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell law and policies.

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

Subcommittee on Strategic Forces (11:30 a.m. at 2212 Rayburn).  The subcommittee will meet to receive testimony on the Fiscal Year 2012 national defense authorization budget request for Department of Energy atomic energy defense activities and Department of Defense nuclear forces programs.
