Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Jon Kyl (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) today released the following statement regarding an amendment, to be voted on tomorrow, offered by Representative Adam Smith, Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee, to H.R. 4310, the House version of the Fiscal Year 2013 National Defense Authorization Act:
Washington – House Armed Services Committee Chairman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon and House Armed Services Committee Republicans sent a letter Friday to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid calling on him to bring a plan to the Senate floor immediately to resolve sequestration.
According to the Letter:
WASHINGTON- The House Armed Services Committee has issued a formal request for acting White House Budget Director Jeffrey Zeints to testify on the mechanics and impact of automatic Defense cuts known as “sequestration.” Read the letter of invitation here.
