SINGAPORE - A congressional delegation led by Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-TX), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, and including Reps Mike Conaway (R-TX), Henry Cuellar (D-TX), Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), and Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH), concluded their travels in the Indo-Pacific region by attending the Shanghai-La Dialogue, a regional security conference in Singapore. MANILA - A Congressional Delegation led by Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-TX), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee and including Reps Henry Cuellar (D-TX), Vicky Hartzler (R-MO) and Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH) today concluded a two-day visit to the Philippines. During their visit, the delegation met with Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff, General Carlito Galvez and Undersecretary for National Defense for the Philippines Cardozo Luna. The delegation also visited Camp Navarro in Zamboanga City where they were briefed by US forces on joint US / Philippine counterterrorism operations.
