Hunter Statement on the Release of Additional Photographs from Abu Ghraib

Washington, D.C. --- U.S. House Armed Services Committee Chairman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) today released the following statement regarding the publication of additional photographs from Abu Ghraib.

 

Hunter’s statement follows:

 

“The Department of Defense has informed us that all the newly released photographs depicting individuals have already been investigated. The House Armed Services Committee, in its oversight capacity, will review the additional photographs to ensure that these images do not represent new incidents or the involvement of new personnel.”
