Chairman Mike Rogers (R-AL) released the following statement today regarding Iran's strike on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

"I am grateful that no American lives were lost in Iran’s limited attack on Al Udeid Air Base, and I continue to pray for the safety of our servicemembers. President Trump is seeking peace and does not desire further conflict. However, if Iran misjudges the situation and chooses to escalate, the President has made it clear the United States is prepared to defend American lives and vital national interests. It would be a profound miscalculation for the Ayatollah to test our resolve."
