Thornberry Announces New Armed Services Leadership Team

JEN STEWART NAMED STAFF DIRECTOR

WASHINGTON - Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-TX), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, today announced a new staff leadership team for the Committee. Beginning September 5, Jen Stewart will assume the role of Staff Director. Jenness Simler will continue to serve as Deputy Staff Director. Prior to joining the Committee, Stewart served as National Security Advisor to Speaker Bohener and Speaker Ryan. She currently serves as the Senior Advisor to General Dunford, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In announcing the leadership team, Chairman Thornberry said:
