House Cyber Task Force Unveils Recommendations

Location: Witnesses: The House Cybersecurity Task Force will unveil its recommendations to help guide House action for the remainder of this Congress and beyond today,Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 1:00pm in 2118 Rayburn House Office Building (House Armed Services Committee Room). Reflecting a growing concern about malicious cyber activity, House Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor in June created the Cybersecurity Task Force and charged it with examining the largest and most complex issues. They also tasked the group with making recommendations on cybersecurity authorities, information-sharing and public-private partnerships, critical infrastructure, and domestic legal frameworks.
