For Capitol Hill Credentialed Media
The House Armed Services Committee will distribute electronic copies of NDAA amendments via e-mail to interested credentialed media. The amendments will be to the Chairman's draft of the annual defense authorization bill, which will be marked up by the full committee on Wednesday, April 29th, beginning at 10:00 AM. Amendments will be e-mailed as they are called up for consideration by the committee. To ensure timely distribution, subscribers will be limited to the media with congressional credentials. Additionally, credentialed media outlets will be limited to three e-mail addresses each.
Interested media may subscribe to the distribution list by going to sign up here. The list will be tested three times: on Tuesday, April 21st with the distribution of the FIRST subcommittee marks; on Monday, April 27th with the distribution of the Chairman's mark; and, finally on the evening of Tuesday, April 28th to release the subcommittee order of consideration during the full committee mark up. Importantly, NO ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS FROM THE LIST WILL BE POSSIBLE AFTER MIDNIGHT ON THE 28th. Subscribing media should be prepared for the frequent distribution of large files on April 29th and 30th.
E-mail signup guidelines: • Open to media with congressional credentials only at Media Sign Up • Only 3 e-mails per media outlet • List tested on 4/21, 4/27, and 4/28 (late) • No additions or deletions to the list after midnight on the 28th.
