Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, released a statement following a phone call with Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
 
“I just had a great conversation with Secretary Hegseth. I relayed to Secretary Hegseth that he will have no better partner in Congress than the House Armed Services Committee. On the Committee, we are dedicated to supporting President Trump’s Peace through Strength agenda. Secretary Hegseth and I are in total agreement, we need to increase investments in defense, reform how we buy technology to better support the warfighter, and cut waste."
