U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, released a statement on the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s final report on the Biden-Harris administration’s catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal.
“I commend Chairman McCaul for his tireless efforts to hold the Biden-Harris administration accountable for its disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. What has been clear since day one is that President Biden and Vice President Harris refused to follow the advice of our military leaders and instead listened to political operatives at the White House and State Department. It’s evident that the craven political decisions made by the Biden-Harris administration led to catastrophe. It’s unacceptable that three years later, no one in the Biden-Harris administration has resigned or been fired for their role in this strategic failure.”
