Rogers: Putin's Aggressions must Be Met with Immediate Sanctions

U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Lead Republican of the House Armed Services Committee, released a statement following reports of a shelling in Eastern Ukraine.

"In the past 24 hours, Putin has escalated his aggression against Ukraine and is further testing President Biden's willingness to act. We have seen reports of cyber-attacks yesterday and shelling of civilian infrastructure today – all while Putin is strangling the Ukrainian economy. These aggressions are not ‘minor incursions' to our partners in Kyiv. It's well past time for President Biden to enact sanctions on Russia."
