“The passage of this bill marks the fifth time this year the House of Representatives has voted to resolve sequestration. I commend Congressman Allen West for bringing this bill to the floor.

"What happened overnight in Libya was tragic. Four brave Americans were killed at the hands of a mob. While we mourn their loss, it isn't too soon to start asking why this happened, and how we can keep it from happening again.

The Act, which was passed by broad bi-partisan majorities in both chambers, required the President to report on how he would implement across-the-board spending cuts by today.
