Skelton Statement on U.S. Casualties in Iraq
 

  Washington, DC – House Armed Services Committee Chairman Ike Skelton (D-MO) released the following statement concerning the number of U.S. casualties in Iraq to date: 

 “My heart is broken 4,000 times over.  When the history of the Middle East is written, I hope it will have been worth it. 

 My thoughts and prayers go out to all of our service members and military families, whose daily sacrifices must never be taken for granted.”
